Designer thoughts
Designer Sabine Marcelis
“VARMBLIXT lamp has always been about how light is experienced. When we set out to update it with smart features, we wanted to focus on how the light and colours shift. The matte surface allows the light to glow softly from within the lamp, and we’ve spent a great deal of time fine-tuning the transitions between the selected light colours. They don’t happen abruptly – instead, they move slowly through the different tones, transforming the experience of the room.”
