”The VALNÄS series grew out of my idea to create strong stand-alone pieces that also work together. Seating and tables are united by a shared detail – a brass sleeve, a nod to traditional brass castors. I worked from both intuition and classic references to introduce something unexpected, like the comfortable armrests that also catch the eye. The result is understated yet distinctive pieces that are easy to combine and easy to live with as everyday life evolves.”
