Designer thoughts
Designer Ebba Strandmark
“A small space of their own makes your child feel safe when they sleep. I want to help you create this with SLÄKT bed accessory. Here you can lie close to each other during storytime or the night. The shape of the house is inspired by Swedish cottages and blocks out distractions, which helps your child to unwind. Making your child's bed a safe, cosy place is important and, together with routines, night lights and beloved soft toys, creates a calm night for the whole family.”
Form/Design process
Created together with children
Children are the most important people in the world and we’re curious to hear what they have to say since we create products for them! Therefore, we invite children to creative and playful sessions where they get to participate in our product development. Here they can express themselves freely and draw, show or tell us what is important to them. Their opinions matter and make our products better. After all, they’re the experts!
