Assembly and installation
It's important that your ceiling and floor are even and aligned so that the doors are easy to open and close.
This ceiling rail can be adjusted to cater for +/- 6 mm height difference between the rail and the ceiling.
SKYTTA ceiling height reducer can cover a gap above the doors to the ceiling between 50-365 mm. If you have an even higher ceiling, we recommend that you consult a carpenter.
The floor rail tapes in place to the floor. The tape might leave marks or glue, or remove fibres from soft wooden floors when taken off.
If you want a SKYTTA sliding door solution with 2, 4 or more doors, this is the rail that fits.
If you want a solution with 3 doors, we recommend that you choose SKYTTA 3-track rail instead.
The floor rail tapes in place to the floor, so you don't need to drill any holes. This makes it possible to use SKYTTA on both wooden and stone/tiled floors.
A wooden beam to place between the ceiling and the ceiling rail is included. The beam compensates for any smaller irregularities in the ceiling so that the doors are easy to open and close.
Does the door not reach your ceiling? With SKYTTA ceiling height reducer you can build a fake wall between the doors and the ceiling and still have a stable solution.
The rails can easily be connected to create a longer solution by using spring pins to align them.
