"My idea with the BLANDA series was to have it contain simple, practical bowls without any unnecessary elements. That's why I chose to give them a classic design in which form and function truly go hand in hand. Since all the bowls have the same design but come in different materials and sizes, you can combine them in endless ways."

Water-saving dishwashers, together with concentrated detergent can leave a white film on glasses. It has nothing to do with the quality of the glass. You can avoid this problem by using a rinsing agent and less detergent in your dishwasher. And if you dry the glasses by hand, you can rub away lime stains from water - the glasses will be shinning and clean.

Glass is mainly made of sand, soda and lime melted at a high temperature. Tempering or various additives gives you extra-strong and impact-resistant glass that in some cases can be taken straight from freezer to oven without cracking. A big benefit is how glass can be recycled over and over without the quality deteriorating. Also, a lot less energy is needed to melt recycled glass compared to new raw materials. Our goal is to eventually use only recycled glass in our range.
