Designer thoughts
Designer Francis Cayouette
"LOMMARP stands out – and blends in. The series has references to traditional carpentry, but I've also given it a modern touch to suit today's urban lifestyles. It's a little like that unique piece of furniture you’ve inherited from a family member, with distinct details and matte colours to add personality and character to the room. LOMMARP can be used anywhere in the home where you need storage, and the expressive yet clean design makes it easy to combine with other furniture."
Material
What is fibreboard?
Fibreboard is a stable and durable material made of leftover wood from the wood industry. A durable outer layer of paint or laminate is added to the board. The difference between various types of fibreboards, such as HDF and MDF, is mainly the thickness, yet also how impact-resistant they are. This determines if we will use them for bed frames, sofa frames, kitchen fronts, wardrobe doors, or something completely different.
