Sometimes a phone call can be the start of a smarter product. Our packaging engineers were called by a colleague at our e-commerce distribution centre. He was frustrated every time he packed a large, cone-shaped lampshade into a huge box that mostly comprised of air. This led the engineers to develop SKOTTORP, a lampshade that can be packaged in a flat pack – so, environmentally, it contributes to more sustainable transport, making it easier for you to carry home.
