Designer Göta Trägårdh
After studying at Konstfack and Konsthögskolan, Göta Trägårdh continued as a fashion designer before co-founding Beckmans School in 1939, where she also taught. As a freelance designer, she created hundreds of patterns. One of these was MAJSOL, which appeared on bedspreads and matching blinds in our 1971 catalogue. A colourful, big-flowered perennial given new life on KRANSMALVA duvet covers and SANDETERNELL cushion covers and pre-cut fabrics in the Nytillverkad collection.
