OBJECTIVES AND TERMS OF THE PROGRAMME

The IKEA FAMILY loyalty programme has been created by the “
H.M. HOUSEMARKET (CYPRUS) LTD”,  FOR TRADING  HOUSEHOLD ITEMS, FURNITURE AND CATERING ITEMS (hereinafter “H.M. HOUSEMARKET (CYPRUS) LTD”),  Esperidon 5, 4th Floor, 2001 Nicosia,, is aimed at adult customers of the H.M. HOUSEMARKET (CYPRUS) LTD store and e-shop and it refers to the registration and analysis of the purchases they make for themselves or their families. The scope of the IKEA FAMILY loyalty programme is the reward of the H.M. HOUSEMARKET (CYPRUS) LTD customers who choose the H.M. HOUSEMARKET (CYPRUS) LTD store and e-shop for home furnishing purchases, for themselves or their families and the analysis of customers’ purchasing trends (chosen product categories, store traffic, types of products chosen by customers, response to general and specialized offers etc.) in order to improve the clientele management and offer products and services that are better suited to its customer base.

1. ISSUE AND USE OF LOYALTY CARD

• Each loyalty card is and remains property of the issuing company
H.M. HOUSEMARKET (CYPRUS) LTD, FOR TRADING  HOUSEHOLD ITEMS, FOURNITURE AND CATERING ITEMS, seated in Esperidon 5, 4th Floor, 2001 Nicosia, and the holder is obliged to return it upon demand.
• The card is strictly personal. The card cannot in any way be signed over . Members can obtain the IKEA FAMILY card at the store and e-shop of H.M. HOUSEMARKET (CYPRUS) LTD at the IKEA FAMILY kiosks.  
The loyalty card’s activation, which is accompanied by a statement of the holder's personal data, takes place at the IKEA FAMILY kiosks within the H.M. HOUSEMARKET (CYPRUS) LTD store. You can also activate your card online at 
www.ikea.com.cy/family by selecting the card activation menu.
• Members are entitled to use the card at H.M. HOUSEMARKET (CYPRUS) LTD Store, always as defined by H.M. HOUSEMARKET (CYPRUS) LTD and communicated to members.
• The loyalty card is not a credit or debit card. By presenting the card, members cannot make monetary transactions, but can only enjoy privileges, as defined and communicated by H.M. HOUSEMARKET (CYPRUS) LTD Members are required to present an activated IKEA FAMILY plastic card in order to redeem points.

The IKEA FAMILY loyalty card must be activated within 3 months after the first card transaction. After the 3 month period, if the card has not been activated, it will be cancelled and all the points accumulated will be erased.

• Members are entitled to 5 points for every €1 purchase of, which can be redeemed as discounts on purchases at the H.M. HOUSEMARKET (CYPRUS) LTD Store and e-shop. The points collection and redemption for purchases made in the H.M. HOUSEMARKET (CYPRUS) LTD e-shop will be calculated on the shopping cart page and credited or deducted after the completion of invoicing. It is a necessary condition that members have registered on the H.M. HOUSEMARKET (CYPRUS) LTD website and have linked their IKEA FAMILY card to their account in accordance with the procedure described at www.ikea.com.cy (terms of use of e-shop)
• Under no circumstances can the card, number of points and  discount right  be exchanged for money. Depending on the points collected, members can redeem them and receive the corresponding discount amount. H.M. HOUSEMARKET (CYPRUS) LTD reserves the right to unilaterally amend the reward system and to alter or replace the reward amount.

• The loyalty card and the benefits offered by the programme are valid only throughout Cyprus at the H.M. HOUSEMARKET (CYPRUS) LTD Store and e-shop in Cyprus. 


2. EXPIRY – TERMINATION

• H.M. HOUSEMARKET (CYPRUS) LTD has the right to terminate this agreement with the members at any time, without notice or reason (and prohibit any use of the card).

• The loyalty card provides holders with benefits for as long as the H.M. HOUSEMARKET (CYPRUS) LTD benefits programme is in force. H.M. HOUSEMARKET (CYPRUS) LTD reserves the right to alter that period at its sole discretion.

• H.M. HOUSEMARKET (CYPRUS) LTD reserves the right to unilaterally modify any term of this agreement, including the calculation of points and the reward amount. Any such amendment shall be communicated to the holder through all appropriate means of communication stated in the application or by posting any amendment in the company's store or on the website.

• H.M. HOUSEMARKET (CYPRUS) LTD reserves the right to modify or terminate the  H.M. HOUSEMARKET (CYPRUS) LTD loyalty programme. In any case, there will be a written notification to members of the benefits programme.

• If for any reason H.M. HOUSEMARKET (CYPRUS) LTD amends part or all of the terms of the programme or terminates the benefits programme, members shall have no claim whatsoever against the company, as they hereby acknowledge that this is a benefits programme granted voluntarily by the company.

• If, after activating the card, members have not redeemed their points within 24 months since their last transaction, then H.M. HOUSEMARKET (CYPRUS) LTD reserves the right to delete the sum of these points. For the convenience of the card contract and transactions with the members, H.M. HOUSEMARKET (CYPRUS) LTD will communicate to members, at regular intervals, their accumulated points as well as their expiration date by email to the email address indicated in their application. If they have not indicated an email address, they will receive a text message (sms) on the mobile phone number indicated. Three months before the expiration of the points, members will be informed via message on the mobile phone number, indicated in their application. 

• H.M. HOUSEMARKET (CYPRUS) LTD reserves the right to terminate the validity of the IKEA FAMILY card at any time in case of misuse or fraud effort by the members. In this case, all points shall be deleted and all benefits removed.

• If a member requests to be removed from the IKEA FAMILY loyalty programme, H.M. HOUSEMARKET (CYPRUS) LTD shall retain the member's personal data for 30 days after the withdrawal of their participation, in order to ensure the legitimate claims of the company.
If the card is not used for a period of over four years (4) since the last transaction made using the IKEA FAMILY card, the card will be deactivated. For the convenience of the card contract and transactions, H.M. HOUSEMARKET (CYPRUS) LTD will contact members three (3) months prior to the date of the card deactivation by email to the email address indicated in their application. If they have not indicated an email address, they will receive a text message (sms) on the mobile phone number indicated.

• The card can be replaced in case of loss, theft or damage at the H.M. HOUSEMARKET (CYPRUS) LTD store and activated at the IKEA FAMILY kiosks or online at 
www.ikea.com.cy/family.

3. PERSONAL DATA

3.1. Miscellaneous
The company under the corporate name "
H.M. HOUSEMARKET (CYPRUS) LTD”, FOR TRADING  HOUSEHOLD ITEMS, FURNITURE AND CATERING ITEMS, seated in Esperidon 5, 4th Floor, 2001 Nicosia,is the controller of the processing of the members' personal data and controls the processing of their data on its website and in the store.

For the processing of the members’ data as described below, we rely on the following legal bases: 
        Performance of contract:  In order to achieve the scope of this contract and the IKEA FAMILY card, meaning to reward members with points and benefits from their purchases and analyze the purchasing trends of our customers, it is necessary to process the personal data provided by members upon registration to the scheme and record their transactions.
        Vested interests:  The processing of personal data is necessary for the improvement of services provided by H.M. HOUSEMARKET (CYPRUS) LTD (processing statistics and non-identifiable data), to identify fraud attempt or misuse of the members’ card, as well as for safeguarding the legitimate interests of H.M. HOUSEMARKET (CYPRUS) LTD 
        Consent:  Members are invited to give their express consent for the following processing purposes: sending of commercial informative messages,  sending of commercial promotional messages and the exclusive- based on the automated processing- analysis of data (profiling).

• Members have the right to accesscorrect and update their personal data through their personal account at 
http://www.ikea.com.cy/family/.

• Members must notify H.M. HOUSEMARKET (CYPRUS) LTD of any change of the address provided, by phone, in writing or online through their IKEA FAMILY personal account (
http://www.ikea.com.cy/family/).

• Especially with respect to changing the members’ mobile phone number, this is done through the IKEA FAMILY personal account with a confirmation code online or in-store at H.M. HOUSEMARKET (CYPRUS) LTD store, at the IKEA FAMILY kiosks.

• H.M. HOUSEMARKET (CYPRUS) LTD, reserves the right to regularly inform members by telephone, post office mail, email, mobile message (SMS) or any other appropriate means, provided that members have consented to receiving relevant commercial informative and commercial promotional messages. This communication will be made for products and promotions for both H.M. HOUSEMARKET (CYPRUS) LTD and companies cooperating with H.M. HOUSEMARKET (CYPRUS) LTD and third parties and may include information about their products and/offers and competitions as well as other promotional activities. In any case, members reserve the right to choose the channels of communication regarding commercial informative and commercial promotional activities through their personal account at 
http://www.ikea.com.cy/family/ at the menu "options", field "Communication Management". Furthermore if members no longer wish to receive commercial informative and commercial promotional material, they may revoke their consent at any time easily and simply:

• H.M. HOUSEMARKET (CYPRUS) LTD also informs its members that apart from the basic processing of personal data for the performance of the contract regarding their participation in the loyalty card programme , it may additionally process their personal data and conduct researches to improve the services provided to its members. By the context of this processing, H.M. HOUSEMARKET (CYPRUS) LTD has the ability to provide appropriate additional programme benefits to members, record their needs, carry out the necessary actions to promote appropriate products and services, in order to improve the management of its clientele and promote its products. For members to receive personalized offers and information based on purchases made in the H.M. HOUSEMARKET (CYPRUS) LTD store and e-shop, they have to give their consent to the exclusive- based on the automated processing- analysis of data (profiling)

3.2 Information, Processing and Scope of Processing
H.M. HOUSEMARKET (CYPRUS) LTD informs members and members of the programme acknowledge that they are aware of the following: 

(a) Processing of Personal Data: H.M. HOUSEMARKET (CYPRUS) LTD will process members' personal data, as they have been stated by them in their application, in order to provide the services of the IKEA FAMILY programme. Furthermore, and if members have given their relevant consent, it may process their personal data to also improve management of its clientele and/or to promote its products. 

(b) Type of Personal Data More specifically, the personal data processed by H.M. HOUSEMARKET (CYPRUS) LTD are the following: 

i) For the performance of the contract involving the main service of collecting points for the IKEA FAMILY loyalty programme, the data processed by H.M. HOUSEMARKET (CYPRUS) LTD are: 

MANDATORY FIELDS:
-        Name
-        Surname
-        Home address
-        Mobile telephone number 
-        Store
-        No of children

OPTIONAL FIELDS:
-        Year of birth of children (if any)
-        Email

        The purpose of the basic processing of this data is the collection of reward points through purchases made by members for furniture, children’s furniture, home equipment and food products, which can be redeemed in the form of discounts on purchases made by members in the H.M. HOUSEMARKET (CYPRUS) LTD Store and e-shop. In addition the sending of commercial informative messages regarding only card transactions and reward points (members’ points balance and reminder regarding the expiration date of the points). Members are advised that the provision of the above mandatory personal data when registering to the IKEA FAMILY programme and the transactions associated with the use of their card are necessary and constitute a contractual obligation for the conclusion of this contract, as in the case of non-provision of these personal data the performance of this contract and the fulfillment of its scope would not be possible, i.e. to provide members with the programme’s benefits and analyze our customers’ purchasing trends. 


ii) For the processing of members’ personal data with the scope of receiving commercial informative or/and commercial promotional messages by H.M. HOUSEMARKET (CYPRUS) LTD, it it necessary that members have given an express consent by checking the respective consent boxes.
        The purpose of processing members’ data is to provide members with after-sales service, the information about purchases made, sending to members commercial promotional messages of H.M. HOUSEMARKET (CYPRUS) LTD and/or third parties, provide exclusive offers, discounts, new products to members, news and brochures of H.M. HOUSEMARKET (CYPRUS) LTD


iii) For the exclusive- based on the automated processing- analysis of data (profiling), with the purpose of creating  a purchasing profile by H.M. HOUSEMARKET (CYPRUS) LTD it is necessary that members have given their prior express consent by checking the respective consent box and H.M. HOUSEMARKET (CYPRUS) LTD shall process the following data:

-        Products purchased 
-        Frequency of visits
-        Demographics
-        Years of membership in the programme
-        Participation in promotions
-        Channel through which purchase was made 
-        Cost of purchase
-        Number of transactions
-        Response to the communication channels

The purpose of this particular processing is to optimize members’ purchasing experience, members’ personal reward, the communication of products and services tailored to the needs of the H.M. HOUSEMARKET (CYPRUS) LTD customer base, send members personalized offers and information relating to them directly, as well as inviting them to participate, with  reward or not, in researches for forming the H.M. HOUSEMARKET (CYPRUS) LTD store, assess market trends and evaluating products and services based on purchases made. 

iv) Members are advised that their personal data may be processed by H.M. HOUSEMARKET (CYPRUS) LTD even without their consent, in case of having to fulfill its legal obligations, such as when the relevant data are requested by the tax authorities as part of audits or to pursuit its legitimate interests, such as responding to the supervisory or judicial authorities.

c) Data Recipients:  For the data required to serve each of the aforementioned processing purposes and as part of the responsibility of each recipient, the recipients of the members' data are:
i. The responsible employees of H.M. HOUSEMARKET (CYPRUS) LTD
ii. Tax authorities in case of an audit
iii. The company under the corporate name QIVOS – WE CREATE CUSTOMER LOYALTY S.A., which provides CRM services and processes the data of its members as a processor on behalf of H.M. HOUSEMARKET (CYPRUS) LTD in accordance with the guidelines and instructions of H.M. HOUSEMARKET (CYPRUS) LTD or any other company that may provide H.M. HOUSEMARKET (CYPRUS) LTD in the future with the same services in replacement of or in collaboration with the above company.  
iv. External partners that provide call centre services and data analysis, to which the information necessary for the fulfilment of their duties are transmitted with strict constraints and processes. Those companies use the data provided to them under the loyalty card contract exclusively in accordance with the instructions given by H.M. HOUSEMARKET (CYPRUS) LTD .


d) Rights of data subjects: Each member, as a data subject, may exercise at any time his/her rights as provided for in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU) 679/2016 and especially Articles 12 to 23 and the national law, namely: 
i. the right to information and access to the data processed by H.M. HOUSEMARKET (CYPRUS) LTD,
ii. the right to limitation of data processing; 
iii. the right to correct or delete some or all (right to oblivion) of the personal data;
 iv. the right to object, meaning to oppose the processing of personal data, and 
v. the right to data portability.

With regards to the right of portability of personal data, the company enables members of the programme to receive their personal data and/or transmit them to another personal data controller by submitting a written request to the following email address:

With regards to the personal data processed by H.M. HOUSEMARKET (CYPRUS) LTD based on the members' consent, members are entitled to withdraw their consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing that was based on consent before it being revoked. 
In the event of exercise of any of the above members' rights, H.M. HOUSEMARKET (CYPRUS) LTD will take every possible measure to satisfy the request within (1) one month after its submission. In this case, members are informed that the minimum necessary personal data will be retained to safeguard the company's legitimate interests.

Members are advised that they have the right to withdraw their consent for any processing of their data for which they have given their consent to H.M. HOUSEMARKET (CYPRUS) LTD. Members may withdraw their consent as follows:

e) Time of personal data retention: Members' data will be retained and processed by H.M. HOUSEMARKET (CYPRUS) LTD until the member cancels the IKEA FAMILY card or, for any data processing made with their consent, until they withdraw their consent for the purposes of providing the services of H.M. HOUSEMARKET (CYPRUS) LTD. Nevertheless, some necessary personal data relating to members’ transactional relationship with H.M. HOUSEMARKET (CYPRUS) LTD and the provision of information, consent and the withdrawal of members’ consent for the processing of data will remain as information regarding the members in order to ensure proof of the legitimacy of data processing by H.M. HOUSEMARKET (CYPRUS) LTD and the safeguarding of the legitimate claims of the parties. 

f) Special Category Data: Members are informed that H.M. HOUSEMARKET (CYPRUS) LTD does not collect or require the disclosure of sensitive personal data (special category data) for the purposes of the IKEA FAMILY loyalty card. 

g) Subject’s exercise of rights
With regards to the exercise of their rights, members may contact H.M. HOUSEMARKET (CYPRUS) LTD (email Data Protection Officer at dpo@ikea.com.cy and call at 22502488.                 In any case, each member, being the subject of personal data, has the right to submit an enquiry to the Data Protection Officer regarding the manner of processing and protection of their personal data and if not satisfied by the reply they may file a complaint with the competent supervisory authority (Data Protection Authority). 

H.M. HOUSEMARKET (CYPRUS) LTD states that the members’ personal data shall not be used for other purposes beyond those stated in this policy without advance notice and, where required, consent. 

TERMS OF REDEEMING POINTS THROUGH THE IKEA FAMILY PROGRAMME

• Members are entitled to redeem their points, provided the remaining balance of the above points credited and available are at least equal to the number of points listed in the discount amount selected by them. To this end, members will be able to calculate the total number of points that have been credited and are available. Points redemption for purchases from the H.M. HOUSEMARKET (CYPRUS) LTD     e-shop will be calculated on the website at the shopping cart and redeemed upon completion of the invoicing. Members are not entitled to substitute part or all of the points collected with money, or redeem the points in question for cash.
• In the event where members return all products purchased, or part thereof, and from which they have earned points, then the points corresponding to the amount of the refund, will be removed from the account, provided the money has been refunded.
• Members may get the discount amount selected from any of the H.M. HOUSEMARKET (CYPRUS) LTD Store including e-shop, by asking to redeem their respective points.
• Whenever members redeem points corresponding to discount, an equal number of points shall be deducted from the balance of available points. The discount applies only to purchases made in the H.M. HOUSEMARKET (CYPRUS) LTD Store and e-shop. Services are excluded. Purchases using the reward discount will be excluded from the refund. The discount cannot be exchanged for cash. In order to qualify for the discount you should make purchases of equal or higher value. It is clarified that H.M. HOUSEMARKET (CYPRUS) LTD reserves the right to modify the point calculation system or the points required to be collected by members.
• Should the activated plastic card, containing members’ personal information, be worn or damaged, the points collected until reporting the respective event shall be transferred to a new member's card that will be received and activated in H.M. HOUSEMARKET (CYPRUS) LTD store. If the card is stolen or lost, you should immediately report it. Any points that have not been redeemed until reporting a lost card shall not be replaced.
