2. How can I become an IKEA FAMILY member?
You can become an IKEA FAMILY member the following ways:

i. You can become a member on the webpage (IKEA FAMILY) by filling in your details in the online form.
ii. At the IKEA store you can fill in the online form at the IKEA FAMILY spots.
iii. Via the IKEA FAMILY registry form at the online IKEA store Log in.


3. Where can I get the card?
If you want to enjoy the member benefits from the start you can visit an IKEA store and take the plastic member card. Before you first purchase at the check out activate your card in the store at the IKEA FAMILY spots or online at IKEA FAMILY.


4. How do I activate my card?
Before your first purchase you can activate your card at the IKEA FAMILY spots in any IKEA store. You can also activate your card online at activation by choosing the card activation menu.


5. What is the cost?
The IKEA FAMILY card member is totally free.


6. Can I have more than one cards?
Every IKEA FAMILY member is unique and enjoys unique benefits. That is why you can not have more than one cards.

7. Can I transfer my card to a third party?
The card is personal and cannot be transferred to any third party.


8. What do I do if I have lost my card?
In case you lose your card you have to let us know by contacting us at 22502502. Once you make the loss known you can visit IKEA store and acquire a new plastic member card and activate it before check out at all IKEA FAMILY points.


9. If we are more than one how are the points redeemed?
The member card of IKEA FAMILY is personal. The points are credited to the member making the purchase.


10. Do I need to have the card with me to win points?
You have to necessarily show the activated IKEA FAMILY member card at the check out to collect and redeem points and also to be able to use the offers.


11. How can i redeem my IKEA FAMILY points;
Once you collect the necessary point number according to the valid redemption forms (member benefits), all you have to do is visit the IKEA store or the IKEA e-shop. You collect the products you want and at the check out you choose the discount amount according to your points and the value of your purchase. On the online store connect your account to Log in, where you have registered your card number and the available cash amounts will appear in your shopping cart underneath the products you have chosen. To collect and redeem your points and also to use the offers it is necessary to show your activated plastic card at the check out.


12. What do I win if I redeem my points?
You win a 10€, 30€ or 120€ discount at your IKEA purchases, special discounts and exclusive offers.


13. For how long the redeeming is valid?
Redeeming your points is valid as long as you reach or overreach the required points for your products discount and can take place:

I. Within 36 months for cards issued until the 28 of April 2014.
II. Within 24 months for cards issued after the 28 of April 2014.

The points that have not been redeemed within the above time, are deleted. We will send you an update three months earlier via SMS to the phone number you have registered.


14. How can I be informed about the points I have collected?
You can be informed about the points you have collected:

- From the website (IKEA FAMILY) and your personal account if you have activated your card and you have made at least one purchase. The account is created automatically and we will send you the log in passwords after your first purchase. 

- You can contact us at 22502502.


15. Can I change my password and where can I change it?
When you activate your card and complete your first purchase, you receive an SMS with your temporary password. When you first log in you will be asked to change your temporary password with one of your choosing. You can also change your password in your account.


16. In case I cancel/change a purchase what happens with the points?
In case you cancel/change your purchase the points redeemed are canceled if the purchase money are returned to you. Purchases made with the credit discount are excluded from the right of money return.


17. If I do not wish to be a member how do I cancel my card?
In case you do not wish to be an IKEA FAMILY member you have to ask to be erased by contacting us at 22502502 or by filing your request from your personal account.


18. What changes with the new IKEA FAMILY form and do we benefit?
IKEA FAMILY is renewed and give you the chance to obtain your plastic card at the IKEA store and enjoy all the member benefits right away. Do not forget to show your IKEA FAMILY plastic activated card at the check out since it is necessary to collect and cash points and also to benefit from the offers.


19. Can I collect the required point number and redeem right away on my first purchase?
Yes as long as you have activated your card and you have collected the required point number on your first purchase.


20. How do I collect and cash points from my online order?
To collect points from online purchases you have to log in as a registered member of the webpage and file your card number following the connection steps from your account (Log in). When you complete your order your receive the points of your purchase at the final stage of the billing. In case you choose to redeem the points, the points are bound. Moreover when you complete your first purchase from the online shop we send you the number of the online member card and the log in password of your personal account. The online card will be activated for the collection and the redeeming of points and the use of the offers at your online purchases.


21. Can I use my benefits at the store with my online card?
If you wish to make a purchase at the IKEA store, take a plastic member card from an IKEA representative at the expository and activate at the IKEA FAMILY spots before you go the check out.


22. If I cannot visit the store to acquire a plastic IKEA FAMILY member card can I win points and redeem them with the online member card from my e-shop purchases
The online member card is equally valid with the plastic member card if you make your purchases at the online shop.
